Go Red Goes STEM

Utah’s first ever Go Red Goes STEM initiative will take place the morning of the Go Red For Women luncheon on March 8, 2019 aimed to inspire young women to follow their passions and incorporate STEM into any career path they wish to pursue. By exposing them to motivating female influencers from science, technology, engineering and mathematics backgrounds, we hope to empower the next generation of female trailblazers that could change the world and eradicate heart disease.

Thirty nominated high school students will have the unique opportunity to attend a two-hour STEM focused event where they will be exposed to some of Salt Lake City’s leading science, technology and engineering companies. This event will consist of four TED style talks given by females working in the STEM fields. These future leaders will walk away knowing they can make an impact in their community by pursuing a STEM career.
