Heart disease and stroke are the #1 and #5 killers of all people in the United States. Twenty-five percent of the men, women and children in Utah will be affected by one of these diseases this year; Hispanic’s and Latino’s are at an even higher risk. Now is the time to take action and make a change. Together as businesses, communities, family and friends we can educate our community on how to live a heart healthy life free of cardio vascular disease and stroke.
80% of all cardiovascular disease is preventable, meaning women can actually make a change for themselves and their families. It starts with one simple lifestyle change. Now is the time to make a difference in the health of Hispanic women here in Utah.
Please join us for an afternoon of education, presentations and fun as we shed light on how women in the Hispanic communities can take control of their health and make changes for the better.
